Last night at Parada Obligada

Last night we went to see the show at the bar Parada Obligada (Charcas 4338). The entrance charge was 10 pesos which included one drink. There were two comedy drags, two male dancers, two female dancers, and a male stripper. The two drags were humorous (especially Julio Cesar Lynch), the tango dance routines were brilliant, the other dance routines less-so, and the very handsome stripper finished with an impressive erection. The show lasted one hour and twenty minutes.

The night was less than enjoyable for two reasons. Firstly, the show started at 2:40 a.m., one hour and ten minutes later than publicised (late, even by BA standards). Secondly, the place was appallingly overcrowded, with late arrivals just pushing to the front and standing in front of people who had arrived earlier. (The problem just now is that with all the discos closed people have nowhere to go, and this bar was taking the entrance money from everybody that came through the door, regardless of how many were already in there.)
