Out on the scene

Last Saturday 8/01/05 myself and friend went first to the gay show bar Search, (Azcuenaga 1007). The first show at 1 a.m. with stripper and drag was nothing special. The second show at 2 a.m. which played to a packed bar was excellent; two drags did comedy mime for nearly an hour and the humour was very enjoyable (even with my poor knowledge of Spanish). Unfortunately we didn't get the names of the two performers; shame the bar doesn't have a web site with a published programme.

After the show at around 3 a.m. we looked in at the new bar W.C. (Uriburu 1018) which is in the next street to Search. There was a good-looking crowd in there and the toilets (with as much space as the bar itself) were busy. This bar could become very popular.
