A Full Sauna
I have commented on this before but I make no apology for doing the same again. A Full Sauna (Viamonte 1770) may be the best sauna in the city by far but if I pay $25 for entry I expect better than surly and disrespectful staff, thin and threadbare towels the size of pocket handkerchiefs, and adequate heating in all areas. The lack of proper management is obvious. Enough complaints might get the message through (if you can find someone in authority).

I was very interested to read your comments on "A Full Sauna"
Our experience there was quite dreadful, We loved Buenos Aires in fact we are coming again, but the worst thing we found was the attitude of the staff at "A Full"
Hola,
I do not know if you will understand this English e-mail, or like your staff you will ignore it, but I felt I should write to your management and make my complaint known.

E-mail sent to them,
Last October 2005 we visited BA for the first time and came to your Sauna and while I must say that the sauna facilities were good I also have to say that the staff on the front desk and on the bar were some of the rudest people we have ever come across in any Gay establishment on our travels around the world.
We were foreigners visiting your sauna for the first time so we did not know any of the procedures, like, handing the card in behind the bar for any charges or extra towels, or returning the shoes back to the front desk when leaving rather than leave them with the dirty towels in the basket at the bar. Instead of taking a little time to explain these things to new visitors your rude aggressive staff just became abusive and rude when confronted with the fact that we were not conforming to the procedures. In fact the front desk clerk was quite the most abusive person we have ever met serving in what is a supposed a friendly gay establishment He became so rude he was implying that we had stolen the rubber shoes and that we would have to pay $10 each for them He totally ignored our constant pleas that the shoes were in the basket at the bar with the towels, in the end to be able to get out of your establishment I was required to go back to the basket empty the dirty towels out to retrieve the shoes to take to him.
I have spoken with many people about the treatment we received at your sauna and apparently you have a reputation for the unfriendly and rude staff you employ. I do not know it that makes you proud, but I for one think it is very sad for an open gay venue to treat its customers that way.
We will be re visiting BA next week, but you can feel happy in the knowledge that we will NOT be coming to your sauna and we will never recommend anybody else do so either.
