Argentina transvestite/transexual organisation gets legal recognition.
ALITT - Asociación de Lucha por la Identidad Travesti-Transexual / Fight for Transvestite-Transsexual Identity Association - has been granted legal recognition.
ALITT is a transvestite-transsexual organization that has been active in Argentina since 1997, devoted to promote and defend the human rights of transvestite and transsexual individuals in the country. Previous application for recognition had been denied but this decision has now been overturned.
